Four Quick Questions

Four Quick Questions

What are a few of your favorite development tools?

Visual Studio, especially 2012, because of its awesome JavaScript support. Followed by Chrome Developer tools, because it’s the best client side debugging tool and it comes with profilers too! Finally, I would say Red Gate performance and memory profiler to make sure my applications behave.

How do you ensure you stay current?

I stay as current as possible through endless blog readings, conference videos, and training videos. There is always something new to learn, and I’m always on the hunt to find it.

What is your earliest memory of computers?

My dad was an IBMer. He got the first IBM PC in 1981. I distinctly remember hanging out in the office watching him mess with it. I got my own PC in 1990, a Tandy 1000.

What basketball teams and players do you follow?

I would have to say my favorite professional teams would be any team Steve Nash or LeBron James plays for. Chris Paul is cool too.
