Since branding would be needed to inform the site’s design, we began by creating a logo that would capture the essence of the Alaskan wilderness and exclusivity of the location. Using the logo, we then produced the rest of the brand elements in regards to typeface and graphical elements.
Using a photography-driven design was a no brainer in this case. The scenery surrounding the lodge was pristine, beautiful and would go a long way in selling the experience all on its own. We supported the photos with custom graphic elements by using a rustic yet whimsical typeface for the headers.
Much like the homepage, the site’s interior pages were designed with a good amount of photography, but also provided information about the lodge, the surrounding area and pricing packages for bookings and excursions.
