At Station Four we believe having a solid methodology in handling projects is of the utmost importance. A solid and test process allows you to properly set expectations so that you never have to guess what the next step is and wonder when you will hear from us next.
However, we also realize that not all clients are the same and it is important not to funnel all projects through an inflexible process that may be inappropriate for a certain client or project.

Despite that the process for each project varies according to the specifics of the work and the client, there are a number of very definable phases most web design projects proceed through.
- 1. Discover
- During this phase we learn about your project and help determine the best way to proceed. A requirements document or list of specifications will be developed and signed off on in many cases prior to contract signing.
- 2. Design
- In this phase not only do we design the look of your project but also he specifics of your solution. In a web design, usually we will produce a sitemap, wireframes {gray box method}, a content inventory, and a design composition.
- 3. Develop
- With the design and architecture of the site agreed upon we proceed with developing your site using web standards. Regular milestones keep you informed of your site's progress.
- 4. Deliver
- With your site coded, tested for cross-browser compatibility, and signed off upon we work with you to launch your site and assist you in marketing the redesign through press releases, search engine optimization, and internet marketing.
- 5. Refine
- Continually monitoring site visitor statistics is crucial. We can help refine your site to maximize its potential.
