Four Quick Questions
What do you feel is the key to successfully managing a project?
Open communication throughout each step of the project. For a project to be successful, everyone involved should be up to date with the direction of a project and expectations should be clear at the beginning. Discussing all details from big picture idea to time commitments helps ensure we meet deadlines and stay on track.
Why did you decide to go into Project Management?
It has always been important to me to have my hands in all aspects of marketing. I have been a Graphic Designer, a Digital Marketing Specialist, a Marketing Project Assistant and a Marketing Manager, and in every role I always found myself wanting to lead projects and optimize resources for the best outcome. I love being able to see a project through from start to finish.
What is a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
When I was in High School I trained for the Jr. Olympics in horseback riding. I started riding a style called Hunters in Middle School and fell in love with the sport. I slowly moved to the riding style Eventing which consists of Dressage, Arena Jumping and Field Jumping. I was unfortunately injured which kept me from competing and I had to go to college instead – which now I am very thankful for!
What are some things you like to do for fun?
Anything where I can take my dog with me! I love being out in nature whether it’s finding new places to hike or exploring new areas, laying out at the beach and looking for sharks teeth, hitting the gym or training for a race, gardening or hanging out at a dog park. I also spend every Sunday with my family which allows me to mooch dinner off my parents.
