Elegant inspiration, clean design
MWN is distinctly Moroccan in origin, but with a global audience. To show this, we dedicated ourselves to designing an identity for them that is deeply rooted in Moroccan visual culture with elegant swashes and flourishes, yet still conveys the gravitas of a professional news organization. The result is a mark that can communicate their brand concisely to a broad audience.
A Unique Identity That Becomes Part of a Brand System
A large part of our partnership with MWN included the brand development and design for an initiative to help improve secondary education in the country by creating an online publishing platform for Moroccan youth. The initiative was called, “Morocco World News Jr.” To create a bond between the two brands, elements developed for the MWN refresh were translated into a more youthful, energetic mark for the platform that will ultimately publish the voices of a new generation.
