Station Four
Vanity Website Design & Event
As S4 turned 10 years old, the founders decided it was time to celebrate. What better way to celebrate than with what we do best? Websites. So our team set out on a mission to map the history of station four, travel through time, and peer into the future of what is to come.
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF SUCCESS
10 years in business is no small feat. Statistically, very few young businesses ever make it to year 10. Rightly so, this was a reason to celebrate: so we built a time machine.
CONCEPTING THE ANNIVERSARY’S BRANDING
Station Four’s 10th anniversary was met with gravity defying design and development. With the decision to host a celebratory party and build a vanity site for the event, Station Four began drafting what some would call the first known cave paintings, but we will go ahead and call it ‘branding’.

CONCEPTING THE WEBSITE DESIGN
With cave paintings out of the way, we could consider building our lovely time machine, or as we call it, the ‘website’. This process started with sketches and developed into wireframes. I mean, who would try to build a time machine without any pre-planning or blueprints? That’s how you get stuck running away from a T-Rex with no hope of return: or cell service.
EXPLORING THE WEBSITE’S AESTHETIC AND FLOW
Of course, what good is it to unveil a time machine if it doesn’t look the part? Aesthetically speaking, the team spent a significant amount of time researching and experimenting with various design elements such as linework, illustration, and color. As you can see, this was vital in showcasing the data we collected with our time machine for your enjoyment.
THE WEB DESIGN
With the important things solidified, the build was ready to begin. Our team of experts carefully calculated the distance needed to navigate around the anti-matter, avoid black holes, and increase velocity from the parabolic trajectory plans while navigating space-time and BOOM: the site was created.

The Party
When one accomplishes so much for mankind, the only thing left to do is party about it! Station Four invited friends, family, and clients to RSVP to their event, and shared the time machine (erm… website) with them. There was food, fun signage, and founder speeches throughout the evening.
