The original schedules lived as a poorly optimized, unresponsive table generated from SharePoint, which was difficult to navigate and interpret. Using that system, we first cleaned up the schedules to simply be more legible for both the common rider and the ADA rider (who got a separate, customized set of schedules).
A Visual Experience
Incorporating the analytics and feedback gathered from the initial improved schedule, we built an entirely independent application that made the process of acquiring a schedule more visual. Rather than just a chart of schedules, users can now geolocate their current position and seek out nearby stops and timepoints to catch an upcoming bus. The ADA section was also given a few more options to search and filter to allow that segment of users to plan their trip easier as well.
