Jacksonville Transit Authority: U2C
Web Design
As part of our ongoing partnership with JTA, S4 was engaged to build a site for one of their most exciting initiatives: the Ultimate Urban Circulator (U²C). The project includes a massive modernization of Jacksonville's Skyway, transforming it from a fixed monorail into an elevated platform using autonomous vehicle technology.

Cutting-Edge Tech Demands Cutting-Edge Design
The original turnaround for the project was incredibly fast, coming in under a week. While the initial site was structurally and functionally sound, we weren’t satisfied that it adequately conveyed the innovation or scope of the project. We moved into a second phase of the design, developing sleek, neon-accented features, providing the site with a cool, futuristic ambient glow.

An Addy Award Winning Microsite
S4 and JTA were so enthusiastic about the design, we submitted it for the 2018 Addy Awards, and it earned a Silver Medal. We're proud to have helped JTA realize their vision for a more connected and vibrant Jacksonville.

Media Center
One of the primary requirements for the site was a location to house resources, articles, and updates about the project's growth and the development of the forthcoming autonomous vehicle technology. To accommodate that need, we built a Media Center for U²C, where JTA can place press releases, visual assets, and publications written about the most exciting developments in public transportation.
